Kae Burke started sewing because her K-mart shirts never fit the way she wanted them to. Her mother, a "jill-of-all-trades" craft wonder woman taught her to use a sewing machine and, and the rest is history. Ever since, she has been making hand-bags, dresses and costumes out of anything and everything that is available, and teaching the children in her Crown Heights neighborhood to do the same. Kae Burke is currently working for Randy Carfagno Productions by day, creating huge furry animal costumes for the entertainment industry, and attending Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion design by night. The rest of the time, she is a stilt-walking dancer and a performance artist, under the name Boring Incorporated which teaches people to have fun for free.
