granny squares were quite hip in the 60's&70's.and
they are hip again.
they are very easy to make.any yarn or string or
thread,and any size hook can be used. they can be sewn
onto shirts,sweaters, jeans,bags,even glued onto
shoes.infact the very first thing i ever crocheted in
the 70's, was a blue granny square which i still have.
ABOUT ME: im a indie/DIY crafter.ive been crocheting
for over 23yrs,i also spin my own yarn,i use to knit
as well,and i create my own designs.i have a double
pattern comming out anytime now in the 3rd issue of
the knitting zine called,SLAVE TO THE NEEDLES.
